I had the pleasure to see the documentary, Olympic Pride – American Prejudice. The movie was written and directed by Deborah Riley Draper. It tells the story of the 18 Olympic athletes that competed in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. Who knew that there was more than Jesse Owens at that Olympics? And to learn there were 17 more plus 2 of them were women! WOW!! This movie is worth seeing. Below is the trailer for the movie and the interview with Deborah Riley Draper at the American Black Film Festival 2016. If you are in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area, please go to Silverspot Cinema at University Mall in Chapel Hill to see it! Screening times are September 23rd & 24th 2pm & 4:15pm and on September 25th @5pm. It is worth your time and money!
